The truth and existence of aliens or other planets with habitation has always been a myth and unsolved puzzle till date. There are several incidents of UFO or Unidentified Flying Objects, sightings all over the world. But many of them have been proven wrong and some are still a mystery. One of such mysterious occurring is the Rockwell UFO crash. It is still an unsolved mystery.
Background of the Incident:
It all started in 1947, when mysterious substances were recovered from the place called Roswell in Mexico. During July 7, 1947, a mysterious object crash landed near the premises of Roswell Army Air Base. Many suspect it to be the crash landing of an UFO. But still the mystery prevails. It is also said that some two to four bodies have also been recovered from that object. There are also two persons accounting as witnesses, who saw the crash landing of that object. But till now the US Army maintains that it is an air balloon that has fallen and brushed aside the claims that there was any crash landing of an UFO. There are also many proofs that have emerged to tell that one such landing has happened. But many of them have found to be fake. Still there are some clues and proof to confirm that there was a crash landing. Even then, this incident is still a myth.
Myths Surrounding the Incident:
A incident of such magnitude is bound to have myths surrounded. The US Army, till now maintains that it was a test balloon crash. But there are several other incidents that happened during 1980s and 1990s that initiated interests on this incident. The first day after the incident, the newspapers published stating that there is a mysterious objects that fell in Roswell. But the very next day, upon the request and order by the Army, the same newspapers, retold the incident stating that it was just another test crash. Also Gen. Roger Ramey and Col. Thomas Dubose, posed with a weather balloon In that, photograph, Gen. Ramey had a letter in his hand, which many say had the confirmation of an UFO crash landing. But that has not been revealed. The US government also in many places has spoken about this UFO crash. In one instance, it has said that there are not enough proof to say that this incident can go either way. In addition to this, there are some videos of alien autopsy that have also been in and around. But their reliability cannot either be proved.
Other Claims and Conspiracies:
There are many other things that increase the mystery. Two witnesses have given testimony that they had seen a crash landing of an UFO. Their testimony have been recorded and documented. A new research in that has revealed that these might be hoaxes. It has shown that the research has been very shoddy and there can be a chance for hoax witness. But still it couldn’t be proved either. All these things, these conspiracy theories, witnesses have resulted in adding myth to the mystery. A clear result of this incident will have a great impact on future research towards study of UFOs.
