This may be the best place to look with the least interruption of humans and the potential caves as hiding locations. Ufortunately, I'm sure that nothing moves fast in Russia and it may take forever to get through red tape and get anyone out there to search for any period of time. It's not like they have bigfoot hunting teams on every corner like in the NW.

I say they should go for it! The more of these folks out there searching for Atlantis, the more other archeaological finds that will be made serendipitiously. It's like eyes on the skies looking for meteors about to hit earth, the more amateurs and weekend astronomers, the better. I like to look at the legend of Atlantis like the story of the great flood of Gilgamesh and the Bible, a cautionary tale passed on by mouth from elders to the youngsters and on and on. It still doesn't mean there might be some neat finds found by accident while looking for the big "A."

I've seen this film perhaps six or seven dozen times, at least, but upon reading this article and reviewing the film, I have a different feeling about it that is less skeptical. I always assumed that two men looking for bigfoot and filming him was just too coincidental, but actually filming an obviously female bigfoot and watching the manner in which she moves as a whole and in individual frames, as well as the body's proportions, it does seem rather convincing. I'm thankful that Henson broke this down and pointed out movement/proportions that seem very natural and yet...unnatural to humans.

He's right about taking a camera. I think the vast majority of sightings were folks not looking for Bigfoot, they just accidentally trampled into his territory. It's going to take one of these serendipitious encounters for proof to be found. I seriously doubt it'll come from actual hunters for the legend. They move in large groups, trample around on horseback, and generally let their presence be known. A hiker or a guy in his backyard is more likely to brush up against Sasquatch. I know the day will come when someone gets such compelling and fresh evidence that we can actually track the big guy down. The question then is--what do we do once we find him? This is a lot like the Internet. When it first started up, we were so excited by the technology we didn't stop to think about safeguarding kids and keeping out the bad stuff. I'm afraid that if we don't discuss what to do with Bigfoot when he's found, it'll be a total debacle.

I like this idea. I've wondered about Jets and Sprites and how they might be visualized from the ground as well as up in space. Of course, someone would have to correlate whether UFOs are seen a lot during storms more than clear weather.

Miller is a real hero. It's going to take people like him, who aren't in it for the ego but for the challenge (unlike Biscardi), who will find conclusive evidence of Bigfoot. He doesn't walk the woods alone, all the believers are along in spirit and hollering as loudly as he will when he gets that photographic evidence.
